UNC Coastal Library Consortium
What is the Consortium?
The Consortium is comprised of libraries from Fayetteville State University, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
What does it do?
The official purpose of the Consortium is to “establish and maintain an efficient online, integrated library system for all members.” What this means in practice is that these three libraries share the online library catalog and the “integrated library system” that provides cataloging, circulation and other library services.
You will notice that when you search the Library Catalog that you can change your search option from Wilmington to the Consortium (all three libraries), Fayetteville or Pembroke.
The print resources held by our consortial partners can be easily delivered to you at UNCW by using the “Request” feature in the catalog.
