Citation Analysis
Citation analysis permits researchers to see how frequently a work has been cited in articles and is an invaluable tool for any literature review. If you come across an article that you think is key to your research, submit a citation search request and we'll tell you who has cited article in their research.
If your citation was published after the year 1972 for Science Citation Search and Social Science Citation Search or 1975 for Arts & Humanities Citation Search. The Web of Science database (on the Randall Library Databases and Articles page) is available for you to search citations by author, date or journal. If you need assistance with searching Web of Science please contact the Learning Commons Help Desk at 910-962-3760.
