Eastern North Carolina Digital Library

East Carolina University Library has digitized history and fiction texts related to Eastern North Carolina. They also collaborated with museums, e.g., the Tobacco Farm Life Museum to provide images of artifacts and information related to their function and history.

Behind the Veil: Documenting African American Life in the Jim Crow South

Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies conducted extensive oral history interviews. Audiocassette copies of the interviews were deposited at local public libraries.
