Available from the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Chemsoc Timeline provides an interactive timeline on the history of science with emphasis on the history of chemistry.

Chemical Heritage Foundation

Official website for the Chemical Heritage Foundation, this is a great site for discovering the history of chemistry and its impacts on the world. Biographical information on noted chemists, oral histories, photographs, and themes in chemical history among others.

National Historic Chemical Landmarks

from the American Chemical Society, this site lists places identified as historical chemical landmarks in the United States. The site also includes a timeline, map and "this week in chemical history" feature.

Center for History of Physics

A part of the American Institute of Physics (AIP), the center works to preserve archival materials; conducts oral history interviews; maintains an International Catalog of Sources for History of Physics and Allied Sciences; provides reference services to historians, educators, journalists, and others; and carries out educational and scholarly projects." The site features information about the Center's Programs and Services, information on the Niels Bohr Library, and the Emilio Segrè Visual Archives. Also available are exhibits including Einstein: Image and Impact, Discovery of the Electron and Discovery of Global Warming.
