Banned Book Exhibit: Call to Artists
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Banned Books Week and the theme is “30 Years of Liberating Literature.” In honor of this occasion, Randall Library will launch a three month long retrospective of banned and challenged books.
An exhibit of student art, inspired by a book that has been banned or challenged in the United States, is planned as part of the retrospective. One "Juror's Selection" will be purchased by Randall Library (up to $500) for its permanent collection and all other selected pieces will be exhibited in the Sherman Hayes Gallery. Artists are encouraged to attend the opening reception and lecture on Tuesday, September 11 at 6 pm.

Exhibit will run September 11 – November 21 in the Sherman Hayes Gallery
