Library Toolbar

With the Randall Library toolbar you can have quick access to library resources and useful web pages, wherever you are on the web. Get one-click access to:
- Search Options: Library catalog, Articles via EbscoHost, Worldcat, Google Scholar, Library Website, UNCW Website.
- Links to frequently used Randall Library and UNCW resources.
*Note: Our toolbar is not yet compatible with Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 4 or Safari. We hope to make improvements to our toolbar soon!

Instructions:
Internet Explorer:
- Click to install the toolbar.
- In the window that opens, click on "here" to continue.
- Click on the yellow bar toward the top of the screen that asks you if you want to install the add-on.
- Click "Install ActiveX Control"
- Note: If you had the old library toolbar installed, you will have to remove it from your toolbars. See "How do I uninstall the toolbar?" below.
Firefox:
- Click to install the toolbar.
- Click on the yellow bar at the top of your screen that asks if you want to "allow" installation.
- Click on "Install Now" in the pop-up box (you might have to wait 3 seconds.)
- Restart Firefox to complete installation.
- Note: If you had the old library toolbar installed, you will have to remove it from your toolbars. See "How do I uninstall the toolbar?" below.
FAQs - Troubleshooting
I've installed the toolbar but I don't see it. What do I do?
In IE, click on "Tools," and scroll down to "Toolbars." Make sure the Library Toolbar is checked. (If you're using IE 5.0, the Library Toolbar might be listed under the name "Radio.")
In Firefox, click on "View," and scroll to "Toolbars." Make sure the Library Toolbar is checked.
How do I uninstall the toolbar?
In IE, click on Tools on the menu, click on Manage Add-Ons,click on Enable or Disable Add-Ons, click on "Randall Library Toolbar," click the Disable button under the Settings area, and click the Ok button.
In Firefox, click on Tools on the menu, click Add-ons, click on "Randall Library Toolbar," and click the Uninstall button.
