The Archives consists of papers, reports, theses, photographs and other important records of the University of North Carolina Wilmington.  If you want to view the collections, come visit UNCW Archives in Room 2008, Randall Library.  The material here is a unique and valuable historical collection and requires special handling and a controlled environment.

While these materials are for use only in the library, we hope you will explore the many artifacts and materials available to you such as:

1. Student publications including honors papers, theses, yearbooks and the Seahawk since 1948.
2. Chancellor's papers, minutes of the Board meetings, other University papers
3. Faculty Scholarship Collection - work produced by the faculty in many formats: Art, video, books, journal articles
4. The University Mace, University Seals, assorted awards
5. Visual collections including videos, photographs, slides

In the Archives/Special Collections Reading Room, you can explore historical documents and the Archivist/Special Collections Librarian will be happy to assist you in finding materials to aid your research.
