About the John Gunn Sports Collection
This collection consists of John Gunn's research
and correspondence as well as his personal collection of sports
programs, statistics, information on teams and individual players, and
photographs. The majority of the collection consists of media guides and
game day programs for professional and college sports teams. This
collection includes both photocopies and original material. There are an
over 8,000 items in the collection,
including over 200 books and
periodicals that are housed in Special Collections and cataloged in the online catalog.
