Digital Storytelling Fall Showcase 2008

Writing Comes To Life

Class: EDN 348
Instructor: Georgie Bramley

In the fall of 2008, the CMC worked closely with Ms. Georgie Bramley’s EDN 348 classes to produce digital storytelling videos. These projects were based on narrative stories written by the students, and utilized various visuals, such as photos, video, and music; themes ranged from animals, family and
friends, to falling in love.

According to Kathryn Batten, CMC Director, the purpose
of the project was to teach students other ways of incorporating technology in
the classroom, beyond Internet use. At the end of the semester, a showcase
was held to exhibit all the students’ projects…and celebrate their hard work.
