Overview of the Summit

"Challenges and Opportunities: Information Access for North Carolina’s Spanish-Speaking Population" is a free, day-long summit open to all education-related professionals. On Friday, March 7, 2008, from 8am to 5pm in the Watson School of Education Building Room 162 on the UNCW Campus, we will be exploring the following core issues for North Carolina libraries: How has the changing population and increase in Latino/Hispanic demographics locally and throughout North Carolina impacted information literacy and information access and how can libraries collaborate to better serve this specific user group?
