Mission Statement

The mission of the “Randall Library Faculty Professional Activities” website is to promote the library faculty’s accomplishments in scholarship and leadership. Randall librarians engage in scholarly or creative activity to produce new knowledge and share expertise, and we hold leadership roles within the profession.

This website serves as a vehicle to educate others about the varied and interesting roles of professional academic librarians today, and to recognize UNCW librarians for their achievements.

Scope

This website includes citations to all publications, presentations, and poster sessions by UNCW Randall Library faculty for the last 5 years. It also includes leadership positions. Specifically, they are:

• Citations to all publications, peer-reviewed and other
• Citations to presentations and poster sessions given off-campus and/or to non-UNCW audiences
• Leadership positions held, including offices in state-wide organizations and committee memberships in national organizations

• Where full-text access is not provided, check the Randall Library online catalog. UNCW Archives maintains copies of RL faculty publications in the Faculty Scholarship Collection
