the largest psychological association in the world.

(APS) - founded in 1988, the APS is another
leading psychological association dedicated to advancing the interests of

Southeastern Psychological Association
(SEPA) - a regional psychological association affiliated with the American

accrediting board for specializations in psychology profession.
Association
of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB)
- the association of psychology licensing
boards in the United States and Canada. Formed in 1961, ASPPB creates the Examination
for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP), which is used by licensing
boards to assess candidates for licensure and certification. ASPPB also offers
mobility programs to assist in licensure of psychologists already licensed in
another state, province, or territory, and also publishes materials for training
programs and for students preparing to enter the profession.
North
Carolina Psychology Board - state agency responsible for
overseeing the practice of psychology in North Carolina. This is the agency that
reviews credentials and administers examinations to individuals applying for
license to practice psychology in North Carolina. This agency also handles
consumer complaints against individual psychologists, and conducts disciplinary
hearings to determine whether a psychologist has acted contrary to
practice regulations for psychology in the state.

PsychExperiments -
cognitive and social psychology laboratory site that has been developed with
funding from the U.S. Department of Education's FIPSE program (Fund for the
Improvement of Post-Secondary Education). Current funding is from NSF's
Course Curriculum and Laboratory Improvement program. The site consists of
a set of interactive experiments, a cumulative data archive, download utilities
for both data and experiment source code, downloadable Excel macros for
analyzing data from the experiments, and support materials for those who want to
use and/or develop experiments at the site. If used in lieu of commercial
experiment packages, this site will enable psychology departments to eliminate
many of the expenses associated with providing undergraduate laboratory students
the space, hardware, and software needed to conduct laboratory experiments. It
allows users to participate in interactive experiments and analyze data from
completed experiments
