Stop by the Research Help Desk on the 1st floor and get help from Peer Navigators, Graduate Research Assistants, and Randall librarians with:
- choosing and narrowing down a topic and writing an effective research question
- refining keywords
- finding and evaluating sources
- basic technology assistance with desktop computers, software, scanners, and printers

Other Service Points
In addition to checking your library materials in and out, Circulation staff can assist you with renewing items, placing holds, course reserves, questions about your library account and other library questions when the Help Desk is closed. Circulation and Reserves Services are available at the Circulation Desk until 12 Midnight Sunday - Thursday and until 6:00pm on Friday and Saturday, unless the library is closed.
The Digital Makerspace is located on the first floor, in front of TAC. It's goal is to bring access to technologies, such as virtual reality and 3D printing, to all UNCW students, staff and faculty in support of digital creation and literacy. Learn more about the Digital Makerspace.
iPrint Business Center
Located at the back of the first floor, the iPrint Business Center is a student-focused business center providing copying services and much more. Students can get class materials, group presentations and handouts copied and printed on a variety of papers. Visit their webpage for more information.
TAC (Technology Assistance Center)
The Technology Assistance Center (TAC) is located on the first floor, at the back of the library, to answer your questions and provide support for all your computing issues or problems. The TAC provides phone, e-mail and walk-in assistance to the UNCW campus community. Students, faculty & staff can also check out Dell and Apple laptop computers to use in the library.
