Notes 973.6.51 44. Untitled Merkstein, German, November 19, 1944 Watercolor on paper The Field Artillery Faces the Cologne Plain. This battery of 155mm had one fire mission after another and kept the artist on the run. The German town in the distance is being shelled by the Germans.
