Clyde Robinson
joined the U.S. Navy on December 13, 1943. After completion of basic training, he was assigned to the Lookout Division on the Battleship Wisconsin. In June of 1944 he was deployed to the Pacific.

   The USS Wisconsin was involved in numerous battles in the Pacific Theater, including the invasion the Philippines and the battle for Okinawa. For his role in these battles, Robinson received five battle stars. He was discharged from the Navy in December of 1945.
