In part two of a two-part interview, Marion A. Davis continues his story of being a gunner in World War II. Injured in France, he spent time in a hospital before continuing his service. Mr. Davis was stationed in Salzburg, Austria, when he heard the news that the war had ended and he'd be shipped home to North Carolina. After these many years, he reflects on the effects of warfare.
