John B. Scales continues in this second part of his interview to describe the supposed first live prisoner of war exchange between the Americans and Germany. He explains that he was the unofficial photographer for his unit and shows some photographs from the exchange. He goes on to describe life for a prisoner of war including their care, food rations, and the laws protecting them.
