November 15, 2014: Literacy Live from the Orchestra!

Have you ever wanted to create your very own instrument?  Join us at Literacy Live in November where we will build instruments using recycled materials, learn about music around the world, and create new songs together! 

This event will be on Saturday, 1:00-3:00 pm in the Education Building atrium. The program is for ages 4-7 (must be accompanied by an adult). Programs are free, but registration is required at http://library.uncw.edu/cmc/literacy_live

October 25, 2014: Literacy Live From the Snake Pit

Even if you are scared of snakes, you will want to join us for this fun-filled event!  We will create snake skins and learn about the vital role snakes play in our ecosystem.  In addition, we'll look at different camouflage and defense mechanisms used by these wonderful creatures.
