American FactFinder is a search engine that provides access to the population, housing and economic data collected by the Census Bureau. American FactFinder can be used to retrieve data from the 1990 and 2000 Census, Population Estimates, Economic Census and Surveys and American Community Survey (ACS). Some of the data from these programs will not be available for rural communities.

SPN 490: Service Learning and Research

This Service Learning and Research course is the study of the Spanish-speaking population in a specific region.  Each student will complete 30 volunteer hours with a local agency that works with the Spanish-speaking community.  A research project related to the Spanish-speaking population of a specific region or community is also required.  This Research Guide can help with research resources and has contact information for the Liaison Librarian, Lisa Coats, to the right.
