Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Philosphers features thousands of critical biographical entries on individuals who have contributed to the history of thought and philosophy. The Encyclopedia launched with 6,500 thinkers from North America, Britain, Ireland and the Middle East, including  a number of figures from other regions who studied, taught or worked in America and Britain, such as Theodor W. Adorno, Fredrick Engels, Karl Marx, Max Friedrich Meyer and Ludwig Wittgenstein. Alongside the giants of philosophy you will encounter people from other intellectual domains: civil rights activists, classicists, clergymen, economists, mathematicians, novelists, poets, politicians and scientists who had something to say on topics that count as philosophical. This trial runs through May 31, 2020.
