The UNCW Library Event Space located on the first floor of Discovery Hall (DH1070) features double-height ceilings, natural light, full technology, and a catering kitchen. It can seat up to 75 people, and can be configured with banquet tables, seminar style tables, or in lecture style.  

The UNCW Library Event Space has the following audio-visual equipment:  

• High-definition projection system with two projection screens and two ceiling-mounted laser projectors
• Wired and wireless presentation options that accommodate many modern devices  
• Built-in sound system with a wireless handheld microphone and a lavalier microphone
• Touch screen control for audio and video systems
• Camera and microphones for video conferencing

Priority for the UNCW Library Event Space is given to large events that have university-wide appeal, UNCW-specific events like departmental training, seminars, conferences, high-profile meetings, and other special events. It is not available as a classroom, reoccurring meeting space, or for community meetings with closed attendance. 

Possible Room Arrangements:

• Classroom (Default): Seats up to 60 people
• Auditorium: Seats 75 – 85 people
• Banquet: Seats up to 65 people
