    NYTimes Online Access for UNCW

    Randall Library now offers online access to The New York Times for all UNCW faculty, staff, and students through an academic site license.

    Follow the link http://www.nytimes.com.liblink.uncw.edu/GroupPass to create an account that will allow you to log in and access all NYTimes.com content from any computer and any mobile device using the NYTimes mobile app. Access includes the International, Spanish, and Mandarin editions of the Times as well.

    Faculty, staff, and students are also entitled to access to supplemental resources found within the New York Times in Education site. Please register separately for these resources at http://nytimesineducation.com/register. They include content created by faculty consultants/experts in the field, articles with activities to use in course, and learning outcome keywords linked to others using the same tag.

    A battery charger available at the TAC helpdesk at Randall Library

    Can’t find a plug in Randall Library? Stop by TAC and check out a portable battery. The batteries can be checked out for up to 6 hours and are powerful enough to recharge a laptop or up to 6 phone charges. They are equipped with 2 rapid charging USB ports, a standard 3-prong AC outlet, as well as wireless charging capability. Brought to you by Randall Library!

    Recharge at Randall, December 9th from 4-8pm

    Randall Library knows that final exams can be stressful, so we invite you to take a study break and recharge! All UNCW students are welcome to join us Monday afternoon on Dec 9th for events designed to relieve stress and provide much-needed rejuvenation at this busy time of year. Let us treat you to bagels, mini pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit, juice and coffee to help you power through your final exams. Refreshments are available while supplies last. Activities: Therapy Dogs, Adult Coloring, Bubble Wrap, Virtual Reality, Food, Board Games and much more. Breakfast food will be served at 7:30 PM.
