This year we want to highlight 3 distinctive ways to give to the library:

1. UNCW Randall Library: Our 80,000 square-foot expansion is on schedule to open Fall 2024.  Help us fill our new for providing cutting-edge, interactive learning spaces with the technology and equipment we need to deliver excellent services.  Many items are still unfunded, including enhanced technology in our Digital Makerspace, Data Visualization Lab and Digitization Lab. Your gift will have a significant impact on new services and spaces for our students, faculty, and community.

2. Anne Pemberton Student Research and Creativity Award: Developed in memory of our beloved colleague, Anne Pemberton, a fierce advocate for student success, this new award is intended to promote undergraduate scholarship and creativity in areas in which she was passionate. We plan to announce the first recipient on April 5 – watch for the news! Your gift will greatly enrich a student’s undergraduate experience at UNCW.

3. Dr. Ralph Brauer Library and Special Collections Endowment:  Our Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives & History is a regional hub for archival materials critical to understanding the historical, political, economic, and environmental development of our eight-county region.  The Center recently acquired the Star-News photograph collection, and our WWAY Television News Archives, now digitized, offers researchers and local residents a vital window into our community. Your gift will help make these collections more accessible to all. Please give to Randall Library on April 4-5 and continue to make the library and UNCW like no other!
