Seahawks Give Campaign

Almost 58 years ago to this day, the UNCW Library, still under construction, was named for the retiring Chancellor, William Madison Randall. In just a few weeks, we will begin construction on what will be the third major library construction project in the University’s history, building an 80,000-square foot expansion. The new building will house student-focused state-of-the-art technology and learning spaces as well as a consolidated area for Randall Library’s Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives and History.
Randall Library is poised to grow with the University, expanding services to strengthen graduate and faculty scholarship, to foster student success, and to equip students and faculty with the technology, expertise, and services to succeed in all their academic endeavors.
Seahawks Give, UNCW’s day of giving, begins at noon on April 5. I am asking you to consider making a gift to support Randall Library. One special gift opportunity is our new Anne Pemberton Student Research and Creativity Award to be offered annually to an undergraduate for research, scholarly, or creative work they have completed while at UNCW. Developed in memory of our beloved colleague, Anne Pemberton, a fierce advocate for student success, the award is intended to promote undergraduate scholarship and creativity in the areas in which she was passionate.
We hope you will give to Randall Library on April 5-6 and continue to make the library and UNCW like no other!
