In Spring 2018, a UNCW undergraduate sociology class partnered with local children in Wilmington's Brigade Boys' and Girls' Club in the Hillcrest community and worked with the children to take photos that documented what they felt was important in their neighborhood. The two groups worked together to select images to be displayed in an exhibit about the project. The exhibit, Viewing Community Through a Local Lens, is on display in Randall Library's Second Floor Gallery from April 9 through June 1.
Please join us for a reception on Tuesday, April 10 from 6:00-7:30. The sociology students and the Boys' and Girls' Club members will be on hand to show off their work.
