Request for Library Instruction Session

Librarians at Randall Library can provide library instruction for courses being taught at UNCW. Sessions may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Developing effective research strategies
  • Choosing the best research tools
  • Searching print and electronic indexes
  • Searching the Internet for quality sources
  • Critically evaluating information sources
  • Finding scholarly journal articles
  • Using discipline-specific resources
  • Finding primary source materials
Once you have completed the form, a librarian will contact you to confirm the date and discuss the session's content. If you have questions regarding instructional services, please contact: Anne Pemberton 910-962-7810 | pembertona [at] uncw [dot] edu (pembertona [at] uncw [dot] edu)

If you have more than 20 students in your class, please encourage those students with laptops to bring them to the instruction session to ensure that each student has access to a computer.
Date of session
Please provide at least two or three possible dates and times to schedule your session.  Requesting your sessions as early as possible provides a greater chance for you to get your ideal time.
