Request for Library Instruction Session

Librarians at Randall Library can provide library instruction for courses being taught at UNCW. Sessions may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Developing effective research strategies
  • Choosing the best research tools
  • Searching print and electronic indexes
  • Searching the Internet for quality sources
  • Critically evaluating information sources
  • Finding scholarly journal articles
  • Using discipline-specific resources
  • Finding primary source materials

Once you have completed the form, a librarian will contact you to confirm the date and discuss the session's content. If you have questions regarding instructional services, please contact: Anne Pemberton 910-962-7810 | pembertona@uncw.edu

If you have more than 25 students in your class, please encourage those students with laptops to bring them to the instruction session to ensure that each student has access to a computer.

Date of session

Please provide at least two or three possible dates and times to schedule your session.  Requesting your sessions as early as possible provides a greater chance for you to get your ideal time.
