Open access digital library for the field of high energy physics.
The successor of the Stanford Physics Information Retrieval System (SPIRES) database, INSPIRE is an open access digital library providing access to the literature of high energy physics (HEP) from the 1970s to present. INSPIRE also includes a directory of institutions associated with HEP; employment opportunities in HEP, nuclear physics, accelerator physics and astrophysics; listings of meetings and conferences; and a database containing summaries of HEP and HEP-related experiments from many different labs and locations around the world. INSPIRE is run by a collaboration of European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), Fermilab, Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and interacts closely with HEP publishers, arXiv.org, NASA-ADS, PDG, HEPDATA and other information resources.
