The Faculty Commons was created as a gathering place and collaborative space for UNCW faculty. The Faculty Commons also provides space for both the CTE/CFL and UNCW Library to deliver programming that supports UNCW faculty. The Commons can be easily reconfigured for a variety of scenarios; it has work surfaces, soft seating, and two semi-private huddle rooms. 

All three spaces (the huddle rooms and the main space) are equipped with computers, large screen displays, webcams, speakers and microphones.

Borrow Items from Other Libraries

If you have carefully searched the Library Catalog for a book or journal, and we do not own it (or have online access to it), then you may place an interlibrary loan request for the item.

Creating Journal And Article Alerts

Many library databases will alert you when new records satisfying specific search criteria (e.g., journal title or keywords) are added.  In order to access these features, you may need to save your search, view your search history, and/or create a free account with the licensed database provider.
