Lost Items
If you believe you misplaced something in the library, you may email rlfacility@uncw.edu or inquire at either the Library Help Desk or the Library Security Desk.
Lost items are temporarily stored in bins by the main elevator (large items like clothing andwater bottles), or at the Security Desk (small items like flash drives, cords, and ear buds), before being brought to themain campus Lost & Found, located in the Fisher Student Center at the Information Center, several times a week.
Valuable items (for example: keys, wallets, purses, laptops, phones) will be locked in a safe until we are able to bring them to themain campus Lost & Found, located in the Fisher Student Center at the Information Center. Lost OneCards are brought to the UNCW OneCard office.
If identifying information is found with the missing the item, we may call or email you to either schedule a pickup of your item or to let you know how long the item will be kept at Randall Library before being brought to the main campus Lost & Found, located in the Fisher Student Center at the Information Center.
In short: if you lose something in the library, it might still be here, but it’s likely your item is at Fisher.
