INSIDE Promotional Tables

UNCW Library provides three promotional table options that can be reserved via the UNCW Campus Reservation System (EMS). Two tables on Randall Hall's first floor and are labeled "RL First Floor Promotional Table A" and "RL First Floor Promotional Table B". One table is located in Discovery Hall's first floor and is labeled "DH First Floor Promotional Table". Tables are placed in their designated location by the library's operations staff after reservations are confirmed in the Campus Reservation System. 

The UNCW Library promotional tables are intended for campus-affiliated groups that add to the academic and social experience of UNCW students such as Registered Student Organizations, University departments, and groups affiliated with the UNCW Library. Outside vendors, private businesses, and other non-affiliated groups are prohibited.  

  • Each promotional table accommodates no more than 4 people.
  • The sale of items at solicitation tables is prohibited, except by Registered Student Organizations in compliance with Section V- Solicitation Policy of the Code of Student Life. 
  • Other charitable fund-raising campaigns must comply with the North Carolina “Solicitation of Charitable Funds Act”.
  • The playing or performing of music at promotional tables is prohibited.
  • The library reserves the right to terminate activities that, in its view, causes a disturbance, endangers the safety of employees or library users, or violates any other University policy, local ordinance, or state or federal law.

OUTSIDE Promotional Tables

  • UNCW Campus Life provides two promotional tables in front of Randall Hall in the plaza area beyond the front steps. These tables are not reserved through UNCW Library. These tables can be reserved via the UNCW Campus Reservation System (EMS) or by contacting Campus Life at clreservations@uncw.edu, 910-962-4150.
  • The Vestibule area inside the library must be kept clear of obstructions for safe entrance & exit from the building. Promotional table activites is not allowed in this space.
  • The library reserves the right to terminate activities that, in its view, causes a disturbance, endangers the safety of employees or library users or violates any other University  policy, local ordinance, or state or federal law
