The purpose of the UNCW Library Chalk Wall is to add an asynchronous interactive student educational engagement element to the library. Through the chalk wall, we can engage with students by soliciting their topical contributions, including creative contributions, on rotating curated prompts. The chalk wall is not a public forum for general free expression activity.

• UNCW Library reserves the right to moderate, update, and remove content on the chalk wall at any time as curated topics change, to make room for additional content, or if inappropriate and/or irrelevant content is added.
• UNCW Library may post images of the chalk wall, including user-submitted content, on its social media outlets.
• Inappropriate and/or irrelevant content is any content that is off-topic, obscene, harassing, unlawfully discriminatory, defamatory, threatening violence, or otherwise contrary to law or university policy, including the Code of Student Life or the UNC Equality Policy.
