Creative Writing
Your Project

In this assignment, students will work on a scaffolded place-based writing project, that examines both the possibilities of knowledge and the limits of knowledge. They will fold this examination of knowledge, and their experience of the research process itself, into the long poem or poetic sequence that they make. Their research process will become a text that they draw from in making this creative work. They will engage with several different kinds of research: library work, a conversation with an expert, and site-specific research.
