The Statistical Collaboration and Training Center (SCTC) is a partnership jointly funded by UNCW Library and the College of Science and Engineering.

The academic goals of this Center are:

• To provide support for quantitative data analysis for educational and research activities
• To enhance the caliber of quantitative research methods, through the appropriate and accurate use of statistics
• To engage student and faculty statistical literacy learning by providing opportunities for hands-on statistical training and practice
• To promote interdisciplinary research collaborations

• Assistance regarding research design, sampling design, power analysis and data collection methodology 
• Advice on appropriate software for data analysis
• Data cleaning, validation, manipulation, and visualization
• Statistical modeling and analysis
• Assistance with analysis interpretation
• Debugging or resolving issues with statistical software
• Referral to statistical specialists when required
