Drop-In Consultations

The SCTC provides drop-in consultation hours for research data analysis in SPSS, R, and Excel. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to stop in, unannounced, for help.

 

Special note: Wednesday 11/27 - Friday 11/29: closed

This schedule will run until December 12, 2024. The SCTC will reopen again on January 13, with new spring hours.

Drop-in consultations are available in person in the Visualization and Analysis Lab (VAL) at the UNCW Library Discovery Hall or over Zoom. 

If you're not available during these times, please email DataAnalysis-Lib@uncw.edu with details about the background and problems you are facing with your code (screenshots or code files could be helpful reference as well). During the next available drop-in hours, we will look into the issues and get back to you by email.

Research Collaboration

The SCTC is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of quantitative data analysis for research activities at UNCW. Faculty leading projects for grants or publications can schedule appointments with the Center Director. External business clients seeking statistical consulting services are also welcome.

Training Workshops

The SCTC provides periodic instructional workshops on quantitative data analysis topics for small group or campus audiences at UNCW. 

If you would like to request a workshop for your department/group, or have ideas for topics you would like to see made available, please direct your inquiries to Lynnee Argabright.
