The library's Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives and History will be hosting a Halloween-themed open house on Tuesday, October 29th from 4pm to 6pm in the CSENCAH reading room (Discovery Hall, room 2095).
Drop in anytime during the open house to interact with original historical resources from the Center's archives and specialized book collections. Some of our spookiest items will be on display, such as local ghost stories, guides to communicating with spirits, and creepy tomes from the library's rare book collection.
Light refreshments will be served, and our archivists will be on hand to chat about the Center's collections. Tours of the Center's top secret closed stacks will also be offered upon request. We hope to see you there!
