We are thrilled to invite you to join us for a month-long series of exciting activities in anticipation of the grand opening of UNCW Library’s Discovery Hall. From August 21 through September 25, engage in a diverse array of events, including contests, tours, and special treats on Tuesdays, designed to showcase our new space.
The grand opening will culminate on September 25 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 PM. We warmly welcome everyone to attend this momentous event and explore Discovery Hall’s innovative new features.
Join us on September 12 from 10 am - 1 pm in the Discovery Hall to explore all the exciting projects you can create in the MakerStudio. Dive into activities like stamp making, zine creation, and more. Don’t forget to visit our custom trail mix station to craft your unique blend and take home a special keepsake.

We are excited the UNCW Library expansion and renovation is nearing completion, with an expected re-opening on August 15, 2024!
