JSTOR's new interactive research tool can help with all of that and more. Please join the UNCW Library and JSTOR Senior Account Manager Andy Utterback on Tuesday, February 11, 12-1 PM to learn more about how your research with JSTOR can be taken to the next level.

    Looking to unwind, de-stress, and tap into your creative side? Join us for the Keeping Grounded Mindfulness Series—a collection of mindful, hands-on workshops designed to help you relax and recharge. These events are open to UNCW students, faculty, and staff only. Space is limited, so make sure to register!


    February 6 | Progressive Muscle Relaxation Meditation | 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

    Need to unwind and chill? Progressive muscle relaxation is a simple, body-based practice where you tense and relax different muscle groups to release stress and feel amazing. It's a must-have mindfulness hack, so come try it out! Space is limited. This event is for UNCW students, faculty, and staff only.

    February 13 | Mindful Painting | 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

    Take a break and unleash your creativity with a relaxing mindful painting session! Whether you're decorating rocks, shells, or canvases, this is your chance to unwind, de-stress, and let your artistic side shine. No experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the materials you need. Bring yourself and your imagination. Come chill, paint, and vibe with fellow students in a calm, judgment-free space. It’s the perfect way to recharge and add some color to your day. You deserve this! Space is limited.  This event is for UNCW students, faculty, and staff only.

    February 20 | Mindful Quill and Chill | 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

    Looking for a fun way to relax? Come hang out and learn an awesome new craft, paper quilling. You’ll pick up the basics, like using the tools and making cool shapes, and leave with your own handmade creation to take home. We’ve got all the supplies covered, so just bring yourself and your creative vibes! Space is limited. This event is for UNCW students, faculty, and staff only.

    February 27 | Mindful Eating | 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

    Ever really stopped to experience your food? Mindful eating is all about tuning in to your body, noticing every bite, and understanding your thoughts and feelings around food—no judgment, just awareness. Learn to recognize your hunger, fullness, and how food makes you feel inside and out. Give it a try and see eating in a whole new way! Space is limited. This event is for UNCW students, faculty, and staff only.

Join us for a look at Scopus and InCites: two industry tools used to analyze citation attention in academic publications, available for you to explore through UNCW Library.
