  • Assistance Dogs at the Library

    Take a break from your busy week and stop by the library on the following Thursdays from noon–1 p.m. to relax and unwind with assistance dogs in the Living Room, Randall Hall, room 2008. Whether you are feeling stressed or just need a little joy in your day, come pet a pup and enjoy a moment of calm. You deserve it!

  • Fall 2025 Mindfulness Series

    Take a midweek pause to relax and recharge. Space is limited, and registration is required. All supplies are provided.  Open to UNCW students, faculty, and staff. Registration opens August 18.

    Mindful Eating 

    Ever really stopped to experience your food? In this session, you'll learn the basics of mindful eating—an approach that invites you to slow down and tune into your senses while eating. Discover how to notice hunger and fullness cues, observe how food makes you feel, and eat with more intention and awareness. No judgment, just curiosity.

    Explore the basics of Reiki and how mindfulness and energy awareness can support emotional well-being. This session introduces the concept of energy flow in the body and how to recognize and shift imbalances. Learn about the seven chakras, ways to reduce stress, and how to promote relaxation through simple energy-based practices.
