The library expansion is making great progress! You can now see the iconic UNCW red brick on the exterior and on the inside drywall, paint, and primer are going up! We are currently on schedule to open the new building in fall 2024.

During fall and winter break there will be moderate disruptions to the current library building as some interior renovation work is completed. Library operations will continue as usual during these times, but moderate noise should be expected.

The current building will close at the end of spring semester for additional renovation, re-opening in fall 2024. During the summer 2024, library operations will be significantly impacted. More information will be shared about alternate operations next semester.
