48-Hour Film Competition returns with horror theme

Registration for the fifth annual 48-Hour Film Competition runs Oct. 12-23. The horror-themed competition challenges student teams to write, film, edit and submit an original short film within 48 hours.Teams will compete for cash prizes, bragging rights and the chance to take home top honors. The final screening will be held Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in Lumina Theater.
